If you read Homestuck backwards
it’s about a guy who has many friends and an eventful life, but all he wants is to become a normal guy. Apparently his friends don’t like the idea, because the more normal he becomes, the more distant his friends become. Some friends even leave him completely. In the end, he reaches his goal. He becomes a normal guy. Completely alone. Just in time for his 13th birthday.

Is it weird that I was considering this a few days ago?
Though I read it more as “after saving the earth, he and his friends have nothing in common anymore, so he is completely alone” rather than just him wanting to be a normal guy.
